This digital customer turn display unit is ideal for busy shops or offices in need of displaying next customer's turn. The large 2.5" (63 mm) display is composed of two large digits using 56 bright discrete LEDs. The counter incorporates three on-board switches: Up, Down and Reset. A large push button switch that can be connected to any of the three on-board switches is also included for easy remote operation (wire not included). Finally, an optional speaker can also be added to the counter so that each time it counts up, a "Ding Dong" chime sound is produced twice to notify the customers. The design is based around a Microchip PIC Microcontroller offering a compact design with minimal components.
