Replacement: KIT-09837. This is an older version of the AIK that contained 11 circuits. The new version has a new RGB circuit. This is here for historical purposes.
Description: The Arduino Inventor's Kit is a box of goodies to get the very beginner (and future inventors!) started with programmable electronics. It includes all the bits you need to build 11 basic circuits, no soldering required! On top of that, we've joined forces with Oomlout to offer a small booklet to get you started. The AIK comes with everything pictured and a 32 page color printed 'starter' guide. The guide will take a complete novice and get them:
We believe these to be the building blocks of any electronics project. Once these concepts are mastered, very impressive projects are possible using simple recombinations.
Note: This kit does not include a base plate. We're pretty excited about how it's all coming together, but there are still some problems. We're working on getting a plastic plate to hold the Arduino next to the bread board. It's shown in the documentation, and it's coming! But we did not want to hold up this kit any longer.
Kit includes:
No soldering required. We recommend this kit for beginners ages 10 and up.
